The story of Sanctuary Coastal Estate began more than two decades ago, with a vision for something special on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. The idea was there, and the potential was there, but as circumstances changed, the development journey was interrupted. Around 2017/2018, the original concept was left behind.
The vision was revived with a bigger picture in mind: not simply another property development, but a place where people can live, connect, grow older and enjoy a truly coastal lifestyle.
Since then, the journey has been about bringing the pieces together — working with government and the local municipality, looking at the future of Sea Park, and creating meaningful services and lifestyle opportunities for the wider community.
That vision also includes care for the elderly, with frail care planned within the estate, alongside a lifestyle designed around comfort, community and the coast.
What began as an idea years ago is becoming something bigger: a place shaped by the coast, built around community and created with room for the future.
